Teacher Training Q&A

Our Spring 2016 Vinyasa Teacher Training will begin Friday, April 1st, 2016.  Running for 10 weeks, this 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified training will provide trainees with a broad understanding of yoga as a practice and a craft, while creating space for individuals to focus on the specific aspects of yoga to which they are drawn - both from the perspective of practitioner and instructor. Teachers in Training will be exposed to the essential philosophies and sciences of yoga including Anatomy, Alignment, The Eight Limbed Path, Pranayama, Meditation and Yoga History, as well as methods to apply these concepts to their yoga and teaching practices. Upon completing this program, participants will be able to demonstrate the skills of yoga instruction in a professional setting. The program will provide comprehensive training in the practical craft of leading a yoga class, as well as offering clear guidance on how to work in the world as a professional yoga teacher.

Whether you are interested in learning to teach yoga or amplify your yoga practice, the We Yoga Training will be an opportunity to explore and grow.  For more details, go to www.weyogaco-op.com; email alyssa@weyogaproject.com, anneelyse@weyogaco-op.com; or come to our Q & A Thursday, January 28th from 6:30-7:30 PM.
